Take That's meteoric comeback is continuing with them having clung to the number one chart spot for three weeks running with the their track Patience. The band reformed earlier this year for a sell out reunion tour and have a new album on the way.
They have already sold 30,000 copies of ‘Patience’…it is their first number one single since ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ 10 years ago. A music source said: “It’s a remarkable feat. A year ago they were all but forgotten. The nay-sayers were claiming that the reunion was a waste of time without Robbie Williams but they’ve proved everyone wrong.”
HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo added: “’It also makes them contenders to top the charts this Christmas.”
